(GESET) is an event designed to stimulate and encourage girls in grades 6-8 to pursue careers in science engineering and technology. The event includes motivational speakers, hands-on workshops, volunteer mentors and educational exhibits. Hosted by: The Society of Women Engineers Rocky Mountain Section – Lockheed Martin, Junior Achievmentof Rockey Mountain, Inc, and The Women`s Foundation of Colorado. Mrs. Valerie Scott helps the young ladies build balsa-wood gliders and speaks about life in aviation.
