Shades of Blue Reno Chapter President, Joe Rajacic, a United Airlines 747 captain, has been invited to co-host a booth along with other worthy educational, non-profit groups in the Air Race Foundation’s tent at the upcoming National Championship Air Races. He will be promoting Shades of Blue and sharing the organizations mission and great works with visitors who pass through the tent which will be located within the Heritage section of the Air Races campus. This will be open to all of the estimated. 75,000 spectators who are expected through out the week.
In line with their vision of serving as a “hanger” for the aviation community. The Foundation seeks to inspire existing as well as future aviation enthusiasts by engaging patrons via increased. interactivity. To that end Joe has secured the use of a new flight simulator with the lastest “self learning” technology for all to fly. This will go along with his talk on how to become a professional pilot and what it is like to fly for an airline.
