DESCRIPTION:The Tuskegee Airmen\, Wings Over the Rockies Museum\, and Shades of Blue co-host the Red Tails to Shades of Blue second annual event honoring the achievements of African-Americans in Aviation and Aerospace.  The event will take place at the Wings Museum at Lowry in Denver from 10am – 2pm. Photos\, Tuskegee Airman Ret. Col. James Harrison and World Ginnis Record Book holder for flying kites Mr. Mix McGraw speak to the audiance.  Over 900 parents\, students and educators are in attendance.

Mrs. Annie Soerensen of Falcon School District 49 of Colorado Springs proudly looks on as one of her student accepts her award.  Also the young ladies show off their completed gliders.
