SUMMARY:Challenger 25th Anniversary: A Tribute to Courage and Promise
DESCRIPTION:On January 28\, 1986\, seven crew members of the Space Shuttle Challenger Mission STS-51L set out on a mission to broaden our educational horizons and promote the advancement of scientific knowledge. In the aftermath of the Shuttle accident\, family members of the crew resolved to create a living memorial to the Challenger crew – a space science education center where students could use state of the art technology and simulators to explore space as they apply science\, technology\, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines. \n\nYou are invited to participate with us to honor the sacrifices of the Challenger Shuttle Astronauts and to continue their legacy of STEM education. The evening`s proceeds will benefit the Challenger Learning Center of Colorado Springs. \nClick here for MORE Details
